Palazzo Adriano – First Sunday in September

St. Joseph’s table and distribution of blessed bread

On the first Sunday in September, St. Joseph is again celebrated in Palazzo Adriano, and it is the most important feast for the Latin-rite community.

On the Friday before the feast, a large table with a considerable amount of bread of different shapes is set up in the churchyard of the Santa Maria del Lume Church, mass is celebrated, and at the end blessed bread is distributed to the faithful.

On Sunday evening there is a procession with the simulacra of St. Joseph and Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
